“We believe in real Yoga for real people. A Yoga studio can be a daunting place to visit the first time, but not ours. We have a wonderful community that is warm and welcoming. We are always happy to talk anyone through the classes beforehand and help allay any fears”.

Research has shown that yoga can help lower physical markers of stress, including your blood pressure. More active yoga can strengthen your heart and help with functional strength, the kind of strength you use for everyday activities. Practicing yoga regularly also improves flexibility and balance.

What can yoga help with

If you’ve done your “downward dog” yoga posture today, you’re probably feeling more relaxed. Regardless of your level of yoga expertise, if you’re practicing regularly, you can feel better from head to toe.

Yoga offers physical and mental health benefits for people of all ages. And, if you’re going through an illness, recovering from surgery or living with a chronic condition, yoga can become an integral part of your treatment and potentially hasten healing.
